Question Is this a safe Virtualbox PPA?

    Hello,

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04.3 . I have a problem with the version from the default repositories (can't build modules for current kernel, see: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2177440). After some Googling, I discovered that the problem may be fixed by installing a newer version of Virtualbox. I want to install this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~debfx/+archive/virtualbox

However, is this PPA safe? Does it contain malware or badly compiled software, etc. ? Can I safely add this PPA?

    Thank you in advance.

There is an official repo that offers the latest version.

The PPA at launchpad appears to be a build especially for kubuntu; as kostkon says, there's an official Oracle PPA that always has the latest version. That's the one I've used for many years now, and highly recommend.
