    Internal Clock Errors

    Hi,
So every other day or so, the calender and clock in the upper right hand set themselves back to 2012 and some random time. The settings are -automatically from the internet, Los Angeles timezone. I am connected to the internet at the time, though sometimes it takes a minute or two to connect up. Since the time is so wrong, I cannot access internet sites until I reset the time and date manually.

A minor inconvenience, but it bugs me. Why does this keep happening, and how can I keep this from happening?

You might try turning off "Network Time" in Date & Time settings. If your computer is still loosing time then your CMOS battery may be slowly dying. You will know your CMOS battery is dead when your computer fails to boot.
