Why is there a 2 after my name when I log-in?

I just set up via the new log-in procedure. My name comes up as Stunt Double during log-in but becomes Stunt Double2 at the top. How do I get rid of the 2?

There is already a Stunt Double account.

I'm not changing this account to stunt_double - too close to an already existing account.

Now - if that account is your old one - which I'm guessing it is given the close nature of the e-mail addresses, then you need to change login.ubuntu.com to rcn.com instead of verizon.net.

You'll need access to that account to verify the SSO mail address change.

Once you've done that you'll be able to login to your old account.

I have disassociated this account, if you happen to log back into this one - let us know and we'll disassociate again.

Yes, I am the original Stunt Double and I still haven't been able to resolve this. PLEASE SPELL OUT YOUR INSTRUCTIONS IN MORE DETAIL. Thanks

you need to change login.ubuntu.com to rcn.com instead of verizon.net.

Re: Why is there a 2 after my name when I log-in?

That doesn't work. It keeps telling me that the address / password combination are incorrect. I haven't been with rcn.com for years. Since at least 2006. I have been posting with verizon.net.
How can I resolve this since the rcn.com account was closed years ago?
    Thanks

Pm me the rcn.com e-mail address to verify.

    We'll go from there.
