    freenx server for ubuntu 13.10

    Hi

I am looking for the free linux version of the nxserver (version 4). Does it exist?

    Is there an alternative?

I need to access my linux server from a windows machine.

    Thanks

Try VNC for the graphical, SSH for the CLI remote management. Otherwise there is some external solution like Teamviewer.

FreeNx server doesn't connect via SSH any more. you can only us NX as the protocol. I don't know how secure that is.

I noticed that too, but it does check certificates over port 4000. I do not know what it means.

Can you use version 4 and version 3 on the same machine (they are using different ports), but use the same directory /usr/NX
