Can't boot into anything when using legacy bios

Just installed ubuntu 13.04 on my windows 8 laptop.. Had to disable secure boot and EUFI and use legacy bios for my pc to boot into the live cd. If i remove the live cd i get this screen:

It won't even boot into windows 8 again unless i enable EUFI again. Still no grub however.

That screen is showing PXE boot which is booting a network device. That may be what you have first in boot order?

What laptop? Most have ways to get into UEFI/BIOS but some have strange key combinations. Check vendor manual.
You did turn off secure boot and fast boot in Windows?
