Trying to install from a CD. I select the "install alongside windows" button and nothing happens, after about 5 minutes it reloads that screen. How to proceed?

I'd guess you're either don't have enough free space, or enough free partitions. Set up the parititions yourself (root and swap is all you need), and select the "something else", then use the partitions you set up.

Never mind this is installed now, was a random error, the next time i tried to install, it went to a sort of tiny-text command prompt and hung, the time after that, it worked!
