Same thing here. If I scroll slowly around a map it does not crash but if I pan around or zoom in too quickly the whole machine freezes (still have a pointer but nothing responds). Happens with chrome and firefox, single or multiple monitors and straight after fresh boot with nothing else running. Has happened repeatedly and is very annoying.
