    Too many panels are displayed when you boot up your live cd

    If you boot your live cd of Ubuntu the top pannel is scretched.

    And it is nothing to do with Xmir either because at the moment the Ubuntu live session does not load Xmir.

    I haven't used nor seen Ubuntu since 11.04

    Let's hope that bug will be fixed because we are a month or so away from the final release.

    By the way, after installation, does the same behaviour appear?

    No, the installed system is OK as is the running Live CD.

    It is only when you select the 'Install Ubuntu' from the opening menu options that these multiple top panels appears. (HP Elitebook, Intel Mobile Series 4 graphics)
