Question How do you boot a iso (windows 7) from ubuntu

I have a usb which is capable of storing the iso (before you might ask me).

To cut a long story short, I basically destroyed windows vista on my pc (oops) and now I have a windows 7 iso (which I downloaded, non pirated so it should run well) and I got my windows activation key from the side of my pc. But since im new to ubuntu (I literally know nothing, no seriously I know NOTHING) I don't know how I could burn the iso onto my usb and make sure it actually runs. So how can I do it (without using anything else beside my computer that only runs ubuntu? Please simplify things if you are gonna explain, my mind already hurts from reading the basics of ubuntu terminal commands.

Try http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/2747/...unt_iso_files/ to get a bootable device that you can use to install That Other Operating System.

In working with *nix...There be dragons. Newcomers: I recommend reading Linux is Not Windows (http://linux.oneandoneis2.org/LNW.htm) and The Linux Command Line (http://www.linuxcommand.org/tlcl.php) before beginning your quest for a better OS.

Here's some ideas that may help you create a bootable Windows 7 USB stick
