Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 beta - gnome 3.8 or 3.10?

Using synaptic...it says gnome-shell 3.8 and gnome-sessions 3.9.90 something...which version is Ubuntu gnome using?

3.8 is in 13.10

Sorry, am a little silly here! I have installed UbuntuGnome 13.10 Beta. But have not added any repositories manually and currently don't intend to.

Am confused, will these 3 repositories affect me in any way i.e.if I dont add them manually? Or do i need to add the gnome-next ppa, to get the right upgrades?
