How is you're 15.6 Gazelle Professional keyboard? 4gen i7? I'm thinking about getting it. But main concern is trackpad and keyboard.

The keyboard is horrible and the touchpad is pretty bad, but since it has physical buttons, its horribleness isn't such a problem. It's good enough for working with.

The keyboard doesn't register keystrokes reliably. There are plenty of professional and amateur reviews saying as much, and I myself have posted videos demonstrating the keyboard's absolutely inexcusable performance. Here's just a few people talking about the keyboards:

Basically, if you care about a decent keyboard, even if you're not a keyboard snob, stay far, far away from System76's machines, especially the newer Galago and Gazelle.

Oh, and don't trust System76 when they say they're fixing something. The trackpad drivers don't improve functionality, and the keyboard replacements not only don't come with instructions, but they don't actually do anything at all to address the failed keystrokes.

    I went ahead and ordered a HP Envy DV7T 17.3" i7-3630QM 2.4GHZ gt-630m, 1080p matt 750GB Blu-ray Laptop for 649. Syste76 is to expensive and tax went to high.
