    Certain hotkeys difficult to trigger

I spent my first day with 12.4 getting the GNOME classic desktop set up and configuring various hotkeys in the System Settings >> Keyboard >> Shortcuts menu. However, I'm noticing that some of these hotkeys are difficult to use.

For example: In the Launchers category, I have Home Folder set to Super+E. If I quickly hit this key combination, it doesn't work. I need to hold the Windows key for a short period of time before pressing E for it to work. The Launch Terminal hotkey from the same category works just fine. I would like to find a way to set up hotkeys so that they are all equally responsive. Any information that could be provided on this would help.

(note: I cannot use the Custom Shortcuts category as a workaround. Those are unresponsive as well!)
