    Exclamation wna3100 v1 need help installing

    hi could some one help me i have not got a clue on how to install this so it works been trying all night been looking at all the other threeds and im prety clued up with windows os but ubuntu has completly thrown me out of my saftey zone im quick at learing and can pick it up really quickly would really love some help

    iv looked at though threds and as im not used to ubuntu i could do with some one helping me do it step by step if possible please

    I don't have that adapter so am not much help, sorry. Personally I'd probably investigate this:

    I'd just make sure it uses an 8192SU chip. There are other 8192xx chips that require some work. I have 2 rtl8192su adapters that are truly plug 'n' play.

    I am sorry for being such a skeptic, but I'm sure you've seen my avatar on almost every WNA3100 post here and elsewhere. Getting it to work, especially in 64-bit, is hit or miss. I'd rather have a tooth extracted than a WNA3100.
