Usb stick encrypted in win 7

I seem to have a problem regardind my usb stick. It is encrypted in windows 7 and when I put it in my laptop (which has ubuntu) it doesn't open.
There are many icons with the 'exe' extension but nothing happens if I click on them.
I was wondering if there's someting I can do to be able to decrypt my usb stick on my laptop because I no longer use windows 7.

The whole point of encryption is to prevent exactly this kind of activity. Put it back in a Windows machine (where you hopefully have the encryption certificate) and get what you want from the drive.

So I won't be able to open it in Ubuntu, huh? Thanks, I guess I'll just have to find a windows computer now.
