Geany - stuck in Overwrite Mode

    Hi,
    I just installed Xubuntu 13.04

Geany is behaving is an odd way I've not encountered before: when I edit files the default behavior (seems to be) "overwrite". How can I get Geany to type in "insert" mode? I can't find any settings for this in preferences or elsewhere.

    Thanks much,
    David.

Re: Geany - stuck in Overwrite Mode

Is it only Geany (and not that the "insert" key has been accidentally pressed)? I looked at my Geany 1.22 (built on or after Apr 20 2013) but didn't see any option in the Prefs to toggle between insert and overwrite.
Shortened urls: See point #11 here. And clicking on them could be risky.
    Use ubuntu-support-status with caution.

    Ah,
Well, have discovered that closing Geany and re-starting puts me back in INS mode. I have no idea how I got into OVR mode ... will be glad to find out.

    David.
