I am trying to download the itunes installer from the apple web site so that I can install it under playonlinux. The apple site tells me that it is downloading and immediately confirms the download, firefox asks me to confirm that I want to save to file, but when I confirm nothing happens. No download progress, no question about where to save to, no entry in the download history.
This is a newly updated system (13.04) and all I have done is to install playonlinux and do the auto cleanup that the playonlinux install script prompted me for.
Any ideas gratefully received by this no-very-competent dabbler!
