    Panicing, please help retrieve partition

    I was attempting to reinstall my whole dual boot setup. I didnt realize I still had my backup drive plugged in. When windows setup got to the point to choose a drive I told it to delete the partition. I wrote no data to it but now the drive isnt accessible. How can I fix this without losing my data?

    right now its just unpartitioned space and my data is still there I think. Please help.

    edit: testdisk worked. All my data isn't lost! I love this forum.
