    First Date Tips

I recently found a girl willing to go out with me. We were supposed to go on a date this Sunday, but I have yet to figure out what to do with her. Any ideas?

I originally wanted to go to a movie with her, but she works at the theater and I doubt any girl wants to go on a date where they work. I brought up bowling, but she doesn't really like bowling. Mind you, my budget is exactly $16, so nothing too expensive. The simpler the better, and I'd like her to have the greatest time possible.

Forget it, man. Spend your money on some computer hardware.

You take a gal on a first date and the next thing you know you're in your fifties, you wake up in the morning, you roll over and say "Oh. You're still here?"

I am a great cook (even though I'm a lazy ass sob), but bringing here to my house on a first date might scare her. And yeah, she's a gorgeous blonde girl who practices Karate and has a very nice hourglass figure

Buy a loaf of bread and go for a walk around a duck pond.

Gorgeous, blonde and shapely means nothing 30 years later.

Enjoying a walk at the duck pond endures.

    Cynic, much?
BACKUPS are unsexy — until you discover you should have done one yesterday.
Spare your nerves and do one before you upgrade or install.

You should enjoy each others' company. That's what matters. Don't need to spend a lot of money to just hang out. And if that's not enough for either of you, no amount of money spent will make for a fairy tale.

Of course, that's advice from a fat, gray, balding old man...

Wise advice. That's why I wanted it as simple as possible. I'll save the fancy stuff for maybe later down the road or something.

For Mrs Lisati & myself, it was a walk along the beach, and it has been 21 years so far.
