I've got a fresh install of Xubuntu 12.04 LTS. For the most part, sound is pretty nice. It's crisp, clear, and loud. But on some programs, I get 'fuzzzy' sound. I can't really describe it but it's sound that sounds like when a headphone is shorting out... that 'noisey. grainy' sound. I experience this on a variety of programs including Jitsi (when someone messages me but not during conversation) and Google Voice during a phone call (it's so dirty that I can't even understand the other party).
Like I said, YouTube and many other sound producing sites and applications are fine. Just certain things. Any idea what might be going on?
Thanks!
Anthony
