During a regular update I ran out of space on /
The problem is that I can't remove any packages or do autoremove.
Code:
root@laptop:/# df -hl
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda5 8,2G 7,8G 0 100% /
none 4,0K 0 4,0K 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
udev 3,9G 4,0K 3,9G 1% /dev
tmpfs 3,9G 96K 3,9G 1% /tmp

none 100M 44K 100M 1% /run/user

I can't remove any packages as this message appears:
Code:
root@laptop:/# apt-get remove dosbox

You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libwebkitgtk-1.0-0 : Depends: libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0-0 (= 2.0.3-1ubuntu1~build1) but 2.0.4-1ubuntu1~raring2 is to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
If I do as instructed:
Code:
root@laptop:/# apt-get -f install

I tried doing 'apt-get autoclean' and 'apt-get clean', but they did not free any space. Autoremove gives this:
Code:
root@laptop:/# apt-get autoremove

Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these.

E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.
I tried already removing wallpapers and other stuff I found from /, but none helped. Is there a way to abort this update process or clear the apt-get so that I could remove unneeded packages?
I don't have old kernels but I do have some programs that I would like to remove. If I could that is.
