Have you tried installing it from the Software Center?
Have tried running an apt-get update to see if your connection to the repos is good?
Splat Double Splat Triple Splat Earn Your Keep Don't mind me, I'm only passing through. Once in a blue moon, I'm actually helpful.
There isn’t a software package called “gparted” in your current software sources. That's what the software center says. apt-get update runs fine. Perhaps this is related to http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2166511 and I deleted some repo? I just tried installing wine and got the same error.
Hungry Man, o/ I think you need to run apt-get update, then try installing.

What version(13.04?) of Ubuntu are you running? Update: If 13.04, it's definitely there. Just checked.
If your sources.list is borked up then maybe try building a new one. Look here http://repogen.simplylinux.ch/ then replace the old with a new one.
I'll try generating a new one.
