I dipped my toes into the Linux waters by installing 13.04 on a small (40 GB) SSD. I installed a number of Windows programs on the system using the CodeWeavers version of Wine. I also added a bunch of photos and music. After experimenting for a while I decided that Linux is my OS of choice. So here's what I plan to do: buy a 240 GB SSD to hold my /home folder and whatever folder the Windows stuff is in. I want to reserve the 40 GB SSD for exclusive use by Linux.

My thinking is that I have to install the new drive, format it as ext3, and move /home there. I also have to move the folder where the CodeWeavers stuff lives. Then I'll use gparted to give Linux all of the 40 GB SSD. Have I got this right? If not can anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks.
