Tried it on my desktop under raring, using nvidia's run file to install there driver, after arguing about some stuff with it i got it this far

at that point it is over my head
just reverted to my old 3.9 kernel with the older nvidia driver

anyway it works on my raring intel system
still does not preserve permissions in /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1 after suspend

Whichever video driver is used...

Make sure it has been patched for Linux 3.11 or it will fail the initial module build.

Here's the legacy driver that I'm using:
