Also seems to extend to just plain views of any thread, views are always 1more than replies in new, (since return), threads

i have noticed this also, it needsto be looked at as new users might get disappointed at the lack of intererst there support thread is getting and give up.

i have also noticed the amount of members signed in is alot lower than it is use to be. for example at time of posting There are currently 20371 users online. 247 members and 20124 guests. have alot of users been scared away by the recent security breach.

that's about normal for the last year or so

so it is normal to only have 200 - 300 members signed in at once for the past year. the last time i noticed these figures the amount of users signed in seemed alot higher. 200-300 users seems low to me. but you can view the figures easier than i can.

Thread and attachment views are calculated hourly by vBulletin's scheduled tasks. DB privileges were locked down and unfortunately prevented the scheduled tasks responsible for updating view count. This has now been fixed.
