Deja Dup backup question

Hi everyone,

Ive been using Deja Dup to do my backups from my 12.10 ubuntu version, I am ordering a new laptop that comes pre-installed with version 13.04, will my 12.10 data backup restore on the new 13.04 OS?

I think it will IF the directory structure on your new machine is similar (same username).
