Printing way too small (microscopic) after software installation

Running a fairly new install of 12.04_64 LTS. Tried to print an odt document and the print is too small, it's there but so small it is unreadable. But printing a PDF file worked fine. Any answers?

Browsing through the settings found one setting "pages per side", changed it to "1" from "16". This lis located at: Printing>select printer> job options.
