    keyboard swap - hotkey?

I have English as my default language and Thai as my second language. To swap to the Thai keyboard I need to go to the system tray in the top right of the screen and click on the keyboard and then click the language I need.

Whilst that is easy it is not convenient if I have to swap between the two languages in a document many times (for example I am editing and translating and want to use both languages often).

Is there a way to hotkey between the keyboard languages so that I do not need to use the mouse to make a keyboard change?

I'm not sure if there's a way by default but maybe have a look in the Software Center or search on Google.

sure but it is a broad concept. What would you use for search terms?

yes, that is a little outdated but it gives you enough information to find how to set a hotkey. Thank you.

I guess I have a slight problem in that I have three languages and the solution cycles in order between all three rather switching between two. However, it is a lot faster than using the mouse Perhaps it is there ... there are other options but no help help file to explain what is offered ...

If you only use 2 languages then why don't you delete the third?

I use English and Thai daily. Chinese occasionally. Perhaps I could delete Chinese and put it back as I need it, I am a little reluctant since the rule is always make your languages available .....
