Hello all,
I was thinking of getting a laptop with both a low-power Intel graphic card (don't know the model) and an nVidia Geforce GT 765M which is an Optimus combination. I've read that Optimus support is still very partial on Linux, so I'd like to know if anybody is using that and what are the caveats ? I don't care about 3D, but 2D acceleration I need.

Does it run with open source drivers ? 'Nouveau' ?!?
With the optional ' Additional driver' menu of Ubuntu ?
With a manual install of the nVidia binary driver ?
Any problems with sleep / heat / low power / high power modes / ... ?

Thanks
