Question WNA3100: Ubuntu 13.04 ndiswrapper issue

Hey so I just updated Ubuntu today from 12.10 to 13.04. The problem being is I immediately notices that my wireless card had stopped working. When I opened ndiswrapper nothing had changed but when I tried to reinstall the driver I get an error stating FATAL ERROR: cannot insert 'ndiswrapper': exec format error. I use a WNA3100 wireless adapter and I had it working perfectly before the update. I did have to resolve the original ndiswrapper not found error but that was easy. I've scowered the internet and have found no source that in plain terms states how to fix this problem. I'm still new to ubuntu so if it involves the terminal please post the solution command for command if you can please.

Have you thought of a fresh install of 13.04?
    After that there's help here.

Re: WNA3100: Ubuntu 13.04 ndiswrapper issue

Thankx for the link, I've seen it already thought. That's how I got WNA3100 working before on 12.10. Once I updated to 13.04 that went all down the drain though. So as far as a fresh install is there a way to make the system updater redo the original update. I don't think there was anything wrong with any of my 12.10 files so just reinstalling the 13.04 update would be good as a fresh install all together right?

Upgrades are always risky. Stay away from them.

So since upgrading sorta ruined everything should I just reinstall from my original distro disk. Do you think I should roll back to 12.10 or should I go to 12.04

I don't know if there is any difference with regards to this card in 12.10 and 13.04. Try the one you like the best and let us know.
