How to use TOR proxy globally?

    Dear all,

I have Ubuntu installed on a virtual machine and set my company's proxy server to be used globally by the system for all types of connection. There is no other option for internet access. Taking it into account, could you advice me, how can I set up TOR and use the Internet without any limitations (like port filtering, etc.) and browse anonymously? My internal network/firewall blocks outgoing connections to ports different from 80. I need to use other resources like Freenode IRC, etc.

    Anyone?

I'm afraid you won't get any help with that here.

Circumventing your companies network filtering policy is something which we don't support on these forums.
