Still will not connect?
Still will not connect?
nope.
I am installing 13.04 so I can check some things, I will get back to you after I have it installed.
Thanks
We are going to remove the last parameter we added and add another one.
Please do:
remove wd_disable=1 and add bt_coex_active=NCode:gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf
save and close gedit and reboot.
Please post everything that is in that file.
Thanks
Can you tell us the kernel version you are using? Run "uname -r" and report back the results.
My Intel adaptor refused to connect with one recent kernel version, but came back to life in the next one. I'm now on 3.8.0-23-generic, and the card connects with WPA2.

That is great I am glad it is working!!!
Enjoy.
Hi, would you mind posting the wireless script information and the complete contents of the file we have been working on, it will help with our learning experience and make it easier to help people in the future.
Thanks
Just as an added data point, I just upgraded from 3.8.0-23 to 3.8.0-25 tonight. My wireless continues to work without incident using Kubuntu's network manager and no additional shell commands.
