    Caffeine in Lubuntu Saucy

Since Lubuntu dropped Xscreensaver I'm finding this quite useful:

    https://launchpad.net/caffeine

I just grab the latest .deb and install with 'gdebi'. Then you can adjust preferences in Menu > Preferences:

It ain't perfect but the manual usage is good enough

It appears as a tea cup between the volume and network icons in the panel.

    Hi

IMHO, if this bug will be fixed: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...r/+bug/1193716
There is no need to use anything else.

I was watching some video for the last 3 days on Saucy Alpha1 but that bug is really pain in the neck so I rebooted my machine and logged in to 13.04.

    Each to their own

I prefer having a simple "button" to click on to control the screensaver rather than having to slog through a tree-view menu.

But the bug does need to be fixed regardless.
