Thanks. I'll have to visit the site as I need to figure out how to fix that font error message at startup and disable the web page tab that auto opens every time.

Thanks too. I look forward to Kingsoft offering a customizable auto-correction feature. Without that, I can't really use it.

    Hi,
    Some little question to you:
Its possible to add the Portuguese Language to it?
The VBA are accessible in Linux?
Its Possible to have LibreOffice in the same machine that Kingsfot are?
The licence costs of the Pro version is per entity (ex:company) or for workstation?
    Regards
    Miguel

It's only that if one regularly uses "special characters", like an en-dash or em-dash, being able to set these up in auto-correct (rather than hunting for the special character every time one uses it) makes writing a document much, much, much faster and easier. Softmaker Office also doesn't haver this feature, which is why I don't use it. Open- and Libre- Office have auto-correct, but it's limited (no wild cards) and it's riddled with bugs. Abiword, last I checked, is also missing autocorrect.

I know several professional writers (and translators esp.) who won't touch Linux based word processing just for this reason. Word processing options remain shoddy or under-developed on the Linux side. Open- and LibreOfffice have known about these bugs and problems for years (literally) and seem to have put them on the back burner. LibreOffice leaves me scratching my head. They've invested tremendous time and talent since forking Open Office, and yet even the seemingly simplest bugs and limitations remain diffidently (or so it seems) un-addressed?

I really hold out hope for Kingsoft. It looks like it may finally be Linux's best chance for a serious Word Processor. Libre will too, I think, but I can't wait another 2 decades while they dither over toolbars.

No, VBA has no Linux version.

    Community version is free.
Pro version: You can visit http://www.ksosoft.com/, and ask our colleague. I don't known about it.
