Cool Switched from Pinguy OS. Need Help!

I switched from Pinguy OS and I do like the raw Ubuntu feel but I do miss some of my Pinguy OS features.

First of all what is the right sidebar called with the system monitor etc.? I miss it and is there a way to add it to Ubuntu?

Lastly, I like Unity but I preferred the Gnome version and the type of menu Pinguy has (In version 12) and was wondering if I could get that on Ubuntu.

    Thanks!

That is a customized version of the Gnome Shell which you would have to install manually. You could check for a PPA but, PG 13.04 uses a different version of Gnome than 12.04 did.
    Infinite diversity in infinite combination.
