Spilled the Beans
Hi,
I know im redundant on this but I'm having trouble on my dhcp server. I have already installed and configured my DNS/DHCP server so everything is fine but when i connect my laptop to my computer directly it doesnt get an ip.
I hope you can really help me on this.

Are you sure dhcpd is listening on the correct interface?
What do you see in /var/log/syslog when you connect the laptop?
Remember, the first step in troubleshooting is to examine the logs.
