Libre Office 4.0.4.2 Print Bug On Ubuntu 13.10

I'm using Libre Office 4.0.4.2 on my Ubuntu 13.10 x64 Notebook but no matter what I do Writer insists on printing out to US Letter even though I've set the Print options to A4 and it's getting really annoying as it's a waste of paper and Ink and also ties me into the Microsoft Word docx format instead of the .odt format as my Cloud Ready Kodak Printer cant print .odt files via the email Print option.

Is their anyway to make Libre Office adhere to the Paper Format that I choose and not have it think it knows better?

Go to Format > page . Set your size to A4 and portrait.

After that go to File > Templates > Save

    Give it a name.

Go to File > Templates > Organize

Double click on "My Templates" and right click on your template. Choose "Set as Default Template" .

Done! This will be the page coming up when you open LO-Writer.

    Thanks for that

Will it work for old documents that I've got saved or will I have to move them over to the new template?
