    Touchpad settings won't save (13.04)

    Hello all,

I've searched for several days trying to find a solution, but I haven't been able to find anything useful. I have an Asus Q500a, dual-booting Windows 8 and Ubuntu 13.04. My problem is simple: When I open settings and change the touchpad pointer speed, nothing happens. As soon as I leave that section, the settings revert back to the default (which is rather slow). It's a small problem, but really annoying. It takes three swipes to get the cursor from one side of the screen to the other. So yeah...any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I'm getting the exact same problem on an Acer S7 391. I'll keep this thread updated if I manage to fix it.
