    Adding Sub-Categories onto Unity Launcher?Catagories

    Hi guys,

Ok, so my Unity launcher is starting to get a little crowded and I thought about how Gnome categorises their menu. You know, like:

    Code:
    Menu
        |
Accessories - Startup Disk Creator, Terminal, etc...
        Games - Backgammon, Tetris, etc...
Internet - Google Chrome, Firefox, etc...
        Office - Libre Office etc...
        Programming - Code::Blocks, etc...
Sound & Video - VLC, Rhythm Box, etc...
System Tools - System Settings, System Monitor, etc...
Is it possible to get the launcher to display folder type icons and populate them with the relevant software?

    Thanks.

    Jamie.

You can create 'category' icons on the launcher, using quicklists as 'menu' items & having as many as you like or are relevant to that category.
(here I've several, usually 8 - 10 quicklist items each
Though atm quicklists are limited to one level, I had a bug about that for a long time now with obviously no success

Ex. screen of 'MultiMedia' icon, currently has 9 apps displayed in quicklists, the icon itself opens vlc

How do I go about doing that?
