NS-2 Help Required

hi every1,
i need some help with the NS-2 code. as i m trying to send a msg/signal/command from .cc file to the .tcl file and i dont know where to start and i m pretty much stuck.
here is the scenario. i have a DropTail.cc which is code for a queue and what it does is drop packets when queue is full. i want to send a msg from the DropTail.cc to my main.tcl to stop the flows when the queue is 70% or 80% full so we can avoid the packet drop.

can any1 please help me on this.... i will be so so grateful
