    after dual install grub fails

    After adding another filesystem, Grub gives "unknown filesystem". I have the Grub mounted on the MBR. thanks for any help, I've never dual installed before.

    What do you mean by "After adding another filesystem"? Have you installed another OS?

    Yes I had one and added another filesystem then grub broke.

    This may fix it, if not post link to BootInfo report.
    You can install into your Ubuntu live installer or download the CD or DVD versions with it included.

    Post the link to the BootInfo report that this creates. Is part of Boot-Repair:
