Hi, I'm using 13.04.
This afternoon, out of the blue, the command Ctrl+Alt+L stopped working.
I noticed this when I started up from 'Pause'. It still worked this morning.
What can be wrong?

I suppose it's something mechanical? The screen doesn't react to Ctrl+Alt+L anymore.
Unfortunately, I don't have another screen to check this.
Otherwise, the screen seems to respond to everything else.
I simply wondered if anybody else had the same problem lately..
Seems to be an insolvable problem!
It's, of course, awkward not to able to lock one's screen.
Where does one find the configuration/script of this keyboard shortcut Crtl+Alt+L?
I would like to be able to lock my screen again.
Maybe reinstall is the only solution?
Hi,
Maybe this will help?

You might wonder what did happen to the gnome-screensaver in the first place.
Well... I removed it a couple of weeks ago and replaced it with Xscreensavers to amuse my grandchildren.
It didn't interfere with locking the screen till last monday, that's why I didn't make the connection.
Must be some bug.
Removed it and installed gnome-screensaver again. And the Ctrl+Alt+L works again.
Hi,
Great that it fixed your issue. Could you possibly mark this thread as solved (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2121377)?
