USB Memory stick broken!

hi my memory stick broke the other day and its cracked right in half, i have tried to fix it by putting the 2 pieces back together with tape but no luck. i forgot to back up so now i cant access my files and i need them in a couple of days. any ideas on how i can fix it?

Did you really think a piece of sticky tape would reconnect the internal electrical connections?

Only one place for it, the bin. Unless you know a magician.

I would have tried to re-solder connections - I'm prone to throw more time at fixing things than they're worth.
Success would depend on whether traces are visible and big enough to solder. Less chance of success if it's a multi-layer board.

Only thing that can help you now is professional data recovery company. Or the A-team.

If the data on the stick is worth it I would consult someone who specializes on professional data recovery. It will probably cost a lot of money, but depending on the data to be recovered it may be worth it.
