    Can't figure out how to record sound in RecordMyDesktop...

    I've been trying to record a film, where the video is my desktop, and the audio is from my Webcam, but I can't seem to feed the right arguments to RecordMydesktop to get the audio working.

    The correct audio device (as discovered by VLC) is hw:1,0, but the flag --device=hw:1,0 doesn't seem to add audio...
    Apparently I've found the one situation in which Windows provides more low-level hardware access than Linux…

    Try Kazam instead, it has a nice GUI and is available from the Software Center.
