First Cup of Ubuntu
Hi guys I get error messages when I try to install winbind and I can't start it. It was alright untill I installed Likewise open. I want to acess my Active Directory from Ubuntu and import the users.
It says that the core path could not be set up. The action is not allowed. (For some reason this is in French)

What version of Ubuntu? Were you installing from the Ubuntu Software Centre? Can you copy and paste the error messages into your reply?

Version is important... Because the Likewise Open version in 12.04 is not compatable with the samba in 12.04... You may want to get the latest version now called PBIS from Beyond Trust.
