The wireless keeps trying to sign into the neighbours wireless

Like the guy across the street, his service is "TelstraABC123" and my wireless keeps on sending me pop-ups, asking me to sign into it - with a password.

Is there some way I can STOP my wireless from SEEKING OUT and trying to SIGN INTO wireless internet connections, that I don't want to be signing into? Some kind of blocking / black listing etc....

    Thanks in advance.

Go into edit connections > wireless, Click on your neighbour's ssid, edit & then uncheck connect automatically.

Hi, click your wireless icon...next to the envelope
    Click Edit Connections
    Click Wireless
    Click TelstraABC123
    Click Delete
Click Delete again when it asks you..."are you sure?"
He will still show up on your list of local connections
    after you delete
but if you dont click on him..he should not attempt to
    connect again.
