In this thread I was able to install inq with help from the forum.
I have just installed it on another computer but am receiving the error:I checked on the first computer it was on and oddly the same error has suddenly started there. It had been working perfectly.QVariantMap DBusMenuExporterDBus::getProperties(int, const QStringList&) const: Condition failed: action
Googling - the error, QVariantMap dbusmenu etc. showed many results. But they are for programmer's which I'm not.
The packages I installed for this are: libxtst-dev build-essential libqt4-dev qt4-qmake libinklevel5 libinklevel-dev libboost-dev pyside-tools python-qt4-dev
And i can't work out why it would suddenly appear on a previously working computer nor on a new install on another. Unless an update has interfered.
So - guru help welcome!
