Red face Ubuntu 12.10 Simple Looking for simple Weather App

I am looking for a simple weather app for the Ubuntu 12.10 desktop in the same style used by Windows Vista and Windows 7 mini-apps (or whatever they were called). Just displaying today's weather and a forecast after choosing your location.

Installing instructions would be great too, unless there is something to be found in the software centre already, then I can manage on my own. IF Ubuntu and Gnome support this at all.

    Many thanks!

i'm sure its not in the style of any windows app, but my-weather-indicator is what i use:

it resides in your panel, showing the current temp. click on it to get a very informative drop-down which includes a local forecast for the location you have chosen. installation instructions are at the bottom of that page.
