ubuntu - terminal scrolling does not work

    Hi everybody!

I am using ubuntu server 12 on the virbualbox guest. (terminal only version)

I want to scroll the output of some commands.

Normally i use | less after the command but in some cases it is not possible to use.

I read that for the purpose the Ctrl Page Up keys should work but in my case not working.

It displays the last commands instead.

How can I scroll the long output in linux?

    Thank you HilmTye!

I have not checket the tmux yet but the screen works!

but now wonder why normal linux terminal does not?

maybe there is some setting i should change?

or it is the vbox problem?
