    Smile Better Unity Desktop Organization?

Even when the option "Keep Aligned" is checked in the default Ubuntu 13.04 Unity Desktop, there is no horizontal alignment. Is there a way to enable horizontal alignment, even if it is installing an external program?

    Thanks in advanced.

Hi, could you clarify what you mean? Do you want icons to position themselves row by row rather than column by column (which is what I think most desktops do by default ).
Also, doesn't the "Keep Aligned" option actually mean a sort of snap-to-grid?

Yes, this is what I mean. "keep aligned" only has a snap to column feature where I am looking for a snap to grid feature like most modern OS's normally have. I'm not talking about autoarrange, just when you manually move icons, they can easily overlap and become disorganized because the "keep aligned" does not do rows. <-----
