https isn't supposed to get you there (yet) until we re-enable spdy/ssl, but we can't do that until we fix the login loop problem.

Something, in my cache, kept redirecting me from http -> https at login, creating a redirect/looping error.
    That was my issue.

    The odd thing is...

I'm the paranoid type. Hrm... scratch that.

Let's just say; I'm security conscious, to the point of bordering on paranoia (a little paranoia is a good thing, yes?).

I setup Chromium to nuke the local data / cookies et cetera, when I exit Chromium. I've been paying close attention, since this happened, and the cache is always empty, every time I start a new Chromium session. This requires logging-in again, every time I revisit a site, but I figure it's worth the hassle.

Still, clearing the cache, in the middle of an errant session took care of the problem. Go figure

I logged on as seamless as usual with my launchpad account.

it would be nice if they had all those topics indexed and have a template similar to ubuntuforums. I'm sure there is a options setting for templates instead of having everything fall off the end of the page ?

What do you mean by templates? There's a categories list here: http://test.ubuntu-discourse.org/categories

Thanks .. yes ... I see it . Ummm but the fonts at ubuntuforums are more bold by default. (I am not sure if there is a font difference between the styles of the two different sites) but at times it is hard to read the default pages because the fonts are so thin. Can we adjust that at the account level or browser level (to make them a bit bolder)?

Thanks for pointing out the previous.

AFAICT they use the same Ubuntu font, you just need to adjust them with zoom (ctrl - or +) and then the browser will remember the size, which makes it easier to read.

Ubuntu is bolder and easier to read for those that might need slight assistive tech help (meaning that our eyesight is not that good as it used to be)

    Example 1 Ubuntuforums
    Example 2 Discourse
